Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was Commemorated at DPÜ

A commemoration ceremony was held at Kütahya Dumlupınar University on the 85th anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic.

A ceremony was held at Kütahya Dumlupınar University on the occasion of 10 November Atatürk Commemoration Day.

 

Our Deputy Rector Prof Dr Ayhan Kahraman, our vice-rectors Prof Dr Özer Aydın and Prof Dr Mustafa Arif Özgür, our deans, staff and students attended the ceremony held in front of the Dumlupınar Monument at our university.

 

The ceremony, which started with Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kahraman laying a wreath on the monument, ended with a moment of silence at 09.05 and then the singing of our National Anthem.

 

After the ceremony, our university administration and staff visited the November 10 Themed Collage Exhibition prepared by our Faculty of Fine Arts in the Rectorate Foyer Area.

 

RECTOR KIZILTOPRAK ATTENDED THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY IN FRONT OF THE GOVERNORSHIP

 

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak attended the official ceremony in front of Kütahya Governorship.

 

At the commemoration ceremony attended by Governor Musa Işın, Kütahya protocol and citizens, a wreath was laid in front of the Atatürk statue. Then, at 09.05, life in Kütahya, as in the whole country, stopped for a minute for a moment of silence for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the centuries-old Republic of Turkey.
