Exhibition and Symposium at DPU within the scope of Turkey - Hungary Culture Year
Kütahya Dumlupınar University hosted the Exhibition of Works of Turkish-Hungarian Artists and the International Symposium on Turkish-Hungarian Relations 100th Anniversary within the scope of 2024 Turkey - Hungary Cultural Year events.
Two events were organized at DPU for the 2024 Turkey - Hungary Year of Culture.
Speaking about the contributions of Hungary in the early years of the republic, Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak said, ‘All ambassadors of Hungary to Ankara, including Mr Viktor Mátis, whom we are hosting today, have made great contributions to Turkish-Hungarian friendship. If we keep the Turkish-Hungarian friendship alive, we can bring peace all over the world.’
Ambassador Viktor Mátis said, ‘Kütahya is a wonderful city where the memories of Hungarians live. Keeping the memories of Lajos Kossuth alive is very important for us Hungarians. We are very happy that Kütahya has protected and preserved our memories until today. Kütahya Dumlupınar University is very important to us. It is not only a sister university to Pécs University. The students and academics of this university have a great sympathy for Hungary.
