Hundreds of saplings were planted by TÖMER students at Kutahya Dumlupınar University Evliya Çelebi Campus to heal the wounds of the forest fires that took place in Hatay in October 2020.
Hundreds of saplings were planted by TÖMER students at Kutahya Dumlupınar University Evliya Çelebi Campus.
Speaking at the event, our Rector Prof. Dr. Kâzım Uysal stated that approximately 3 thousand international students are studying at the university. Prof. Dr. Uysal also expressed that “We have students from 28 countries learning Turkish in our language center. At our university, we have international students from 53 countries. Today with this event, on behalf of these students, we are planting saplings with them”.
At the end of the event, our students came together next to the tree with their own country flags and took a souvenir photo.
