Our Rector Attends the Battle of Dumlupinar Conference
The 97th year of 30 August Victory Day conferances were organized by the Governor of Kütahya.
Prof.Dr. Ilber Ortayli was the speaker of the the Battle of Dumlupinar Conference.
The Conference held in Hezar Dinari Cultural Center. The Governor of Kütahya Dr. Ömer Toraman, Kütahya deputies İshak Gazel, Ali Fazıl Kasap and Ahmet Erbaş, the mayor of Kütahya Prof.Dr. Alim Işık, Our Rector Dr. Kazım Uysal, Deputy Governor, some department managers, NGO representatives and many citizens participated the event.
The conference started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem.
During the Victory Week activities Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı expressed his pleasure to be here in Kütahya.
Kütahya Governor Dr. Ömer Toraman presented Ortaylı a Monument, the symbol of the War of Independence.
