A group of students from Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPU) made the "rocket separator" mechanism that carried them to the finals at the Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST 2019) races, inspired by confetti.

Stating that there are 11 students in the electrical, electronics, machinery, computer and industrial engineering departments of the team, Prof.Dr. Hamdi Melih Saraoğlu said, “Our students made an original rocket design. They produced the system which is one of the most important elements of the rocket and separates its title after reaching a certain altitude with completely original designs. developed a system that separates the title from the rocket."
