KOCATEPE INTERNSHIP CONSORTIUM SIGNED

Afyon Kocatepe University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) and Eskişehir Chamber of Industry signed the protocol of Kocatepe Internship Consortium.

With Kocatepe Internship Consortium of which coordinator is Afyon Kocatepe University, students, academic and administrative staff will carry out mobilities in EU countries within the framework of Erasmus+. The project budget, 68,300 €, will be shared by the partners.

Prof. Dr. Oktay Şahbaz, Eskişehir Osmangazi University International Relations Office Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Erdağ, Assistant Director of Anadolu University International Relations Office Lec. Gamze Alper and university representatives attended the ceremony held in the Senate Hall.

 

UNIVERSITY AND INDUSTRY TOGETHER

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Remzi Gören said that the university and industry are in cooperation. Gören stated, “We have a respected cooperation in this very beautiful environment. Thanks to this environment, both our students and our academic and administrative staff will benefit from the project. Also, there are external partners but the universities. This is also an indication that the university and industry are together. Another aspect of the event is that it provides dialogue and communication between neighbouring provinces and universities. We are also having an advantageous and fruitful meeting as the project provides a culture transfer.”

Following the signature ceremony, the representatives of the International Relations Office at each University discussed the main points of the projects such as the numbers, types, duration and selection criteria of the project and budget distribution.
