KOREAN CULTURE INTRODUCED AT KDPU

Kütahya Dumlupınar University hosted the Korean Cultural Day organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for our students and discussed Korean-Turkish relations, Korean education and Korean culture.

The event “Korean Cultural Day” was held at Evliya Çelebi Campus of our university. Our students showed great interest in the Korean Cultural Day organized with the efforts of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and KDPU, Korea Culture Center and Kütahya Municipality.

The Korean Cultural Day held in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences started with the movie "Ode To My Father". In the event in which Prof. Dr. Kaan Erarslan, Director of Korean Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea Dong-Woo Cho and his wife attended and continued with the Korea-Turkey relations symposium, Dong-Woo Cho gave information about the Republic of Korea, its economy and relations with other countries.

After inviting the Turkish students to get an education in Korea, Dong-Woo Cho explained what the students should do to get the education in Korea and how the evaluation process Works. Also, YoonSeo Han, Cultural Activities Manager of the Korean Cultural Center, gave the basic information about Korean language at the Korean Promotion Seminar.
