ERASMUS+ ISSA PROJECT 3RD TRANSNATIONAL MEETING HELD IN THE KDPU

Kütahya Dumlupınar University hosted the partner countries of Erasmus+ ISSA project to hold the transnational meeting at our university. Erasmus+ ISSA project (Improving Solutions for Student Absenteeism) which aims to prevent school absenteeism of 14-18 years old students is run by the Internation Relations Office.

Partners from the TEI of Crete (Greece), M&M Profuture Training S.L.L. (Spain) and Kütahya Counselling and Research Center participated in the meeting held on 4-5 October 2018 in the meeting room at the School of Foreign Languages

The coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oktay Şahbaz, of the project which was created by focusing on the importance of the school attendance of the individuals who will be shaping the future stated that the meeting is important in terms of expanding the project and increasing the impact level of the intellectual outputs to be achieved.

In the meeting, the partners discussed on ISMA Module and ZEIBI game developed to reduce the school absenteeism, the determination of target schools where the module and the game will be introduced and the International Workshop to be held in April 2019.

Expressing that the guests were pleased with the Turkish hospitality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şahbaz and Lec. Vehbi Onur Demirciler, project researchers, Lec. Berrin Demir and Dr. Figen Karaferye also conveyed information about the project.
