Conference on Theatre and Stadiums in Roman Urban Planning Held at DPU
A conference titled “The Relationship Between Theatre and Stadiums in Anatolian Urban Planning during the Roman Period” was held at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
Dr. Ece Çoksolmaz discussed the spatial relationship and social roles of theatres and stadiums in Anatolian cities during the Roman period, emphasizing that these structures served not only as venues for entertainment and sports but also as centers of social solidarity, political communication and cultural representation.
