First Encyclopaedia of Sciences in Anatolia Symposium to be held at DPU
The First Encyclopedia of Sciences in Anatolia Symposium, in which the President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar will participate as a speaker, will be held at Kütahya Dumlupınar University on 11 April.
Kütahya Dumlupınar University will host the First Encyclopedia of Sciences in Anatolia Symposium.
With the cooperation of DPU and Istanbul Medeniyet University (IMU), the symposium, where sessions on Mathematical Sciences, Technology and Scientific Instruments, İlm-i Âdâb-ı Mütâlaa, Zoology and Geography will be held on Friday, 11 April, will end with the evaluation session to be held with the participation of the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak and IMU Rector Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik and IMU Faculty Member Prof. Dr. İhsan Fazlıoğlu.
THE FIRST ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF SCIENCES IN ANATOLIA WAS WRITTEN BY A SCIENTIST FROM KÜTAHYA
The symposium, which will be centred on the work Ferâidu'l Funûn, the first encyclopedia written by Kütahyalı scientist Abdullah Kütâhî and the first encyclopedia identified in Anatolian history, and DPU faculty members Prof. Dr. Arif Kolay, Prof. Dr. Erhan Ata and Prof. Dr. İsmail Yalçın will be the moderators of the first three sessions, will be open to the participation of DPU students and staff and anyone interested in the subject.
