Meeting for the First EU Center Project EMINReM at DPU
Kütahya Dumlupınar University hosted the first training visit and meeting of the EMINReM project, which received a grant from the European Union Capacity Building for Higher Education Institutions (CBHE) Program.
The first educational visit and meeting of the EMINReM project was held at DPU.
At the meeting held in the Rectorate Meeting Hall, researchers from the Mining Engineering Department of Kütahya Dumlupınar University and researchers from the Mining Engineering departments of universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine came together. The meeting organized for the project titled Eco-Mining and Innovative Natural Resources Management Master's Program (EMINReM) continued with presentations after the opening speech of our Vice Rector Prof Dr Ayhan Kahraman. Prof Dr Kaan Erarslan, Prof Dr Oktay Şahbaz and Dr Enes Zengin shared detailed information about the master's programs, VR laboratory applications and quality processes carried out at our university. Prof Dr Ali Uçar and Prof Dr Cengiz Karagüzel shared the current developments in the Faculty of Engineering and Mining Engineering departments with the participants.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak, who attended the second part of the meeting, emphasized the value of the project studies on the subject, as Kütahya is a rich place with minerals. Our Rector stated that it is also admirable that these studies are carried out especially on an international scale, that a budget is brought to our country from central funds, and that partnerships are established with Turkish States.
