Support For FOTAM’s Project
The priority area project application in the Information and Communication Technologies category announced by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination of Kütahya Dumlupınar University Photonic Technologies Application and Research Center was deemed worthy of support.
DPÜ FOTAM's priority area project application was accepted by BAP (Scientific Research Projects).
In the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) category, the center applied to the call with the project titled 'Stable, nanosecond pulsed, wavelength adjustable fiber ring laser design and development for broadband fiber optic networks'.
With the cooperation of the Malaysian group of the project, it is aimed to realize a passive-based Q-switched and mode-locked pulsed fiber laser design, respectively, by using different types of saturable absorbers in the design of the broadband ring-type fiber laser with high stability.
