Stone and Silver Turning into Jewelry Project
Kütahya Dumlupınar University will employ disadvantaged groups with the Social Development Support Program Project issued by Zafer Development Agency.

Kütahya Dumlupınar University’s Faculty of Fine Arts prepared a Project named 'Turning into Stone and Silver Jewelry, Barriers Are Removing', which was presented to the Zafer Development Agency within the scope of the Social Development Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Development Agencies 2020 (SOGEP), was accepted with a budget of 2 million 37 thousand TL.
The overall goal of the Stone and Silver Turning into Jewelry, Barriers Are Removed Project is to revive a craft area that has been forgotten in the history of the city, such as ornamental stone shaping and silver jewelry embroidery, in Kütahya, which has been declared a creative city in the field of crafts and folk arts by UNESCO. It was planned as' contributing to the creation of an alternative business line to increase the employment and employability of disadvantaged groups, especially disabled people.
