DPU ÜLGEN Raised to the Finals in TEKNOFEST 2019
ÜLGEN Rocket Team, consisting of students from Kütahya Dumlupınar University, reached the final in its category in TEKNOFEST 2019 Rocket Competition. DPU ÜLGEN, competing in the low altitude (1500 m) category of TEKNOFEST 2019 Rocket Competition.

DPU ÜLGEN was established in 2018 by the Space and Aviation Sudent Community within the body of our university. The consultant teachers are from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Prof.Dr. Hamdi Melih Saraoğlu and Research Assistant İnci Umakoğlu.The team won the final stage among 571 teams in the category of low altitude (1500 m). Rocket shots will be held on 4-10 September 2019 at Salt Lake.
TEKNOFEST 2019 Competition, which will be held for the second time this year, will be held under the leadership of ROKETSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE. The results of the competition will be announced at TEKNOFEST 2019 which will be held at Atatürk Airport between 17-22 September 2019.
VISIT FROM ÜLGEN TO OUR RECTOR
Together with Prof.Dr. Hamdi Melih Saraoğlu and Head of Health Culture and Sports İbrahim Gürer, members of ÜLGEN Rocket Team Furkan Çevikli (Team Captain), Onur Çetinkaya (Captain of Electronic Unit), Onur Şeref, Emirhan Çalışkan, Mehmet Can Karahan, Fahri Solmaz (Mechanical Unit Captain), Semih Ortaeri, Resul Cemal Kaya, Tuğberk Ulucan, Ataberk Orçun Turan, Semih Albayrak gave information about the competition to the finals and wished our Rector success in his new position.
Our Rector thanked the guests for their good wishes and wished them success in the final.
