Dumlupinar University is one of the unique universities of Turkey and in five years time our university will be among the top 500 universities in the World ranking.

In The School of Foreign Languages, a contact meeting was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karaaslan, Vice Rector and Director of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Dr. Kaan Erarslan, lecturers and many students. In the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karaaslan welcomed the students and mentioned those; “Dumlupinar University is one of the unique universities of Turkey and in five years time our university will be among the top 500 universities in the World ranking. In order to realize this we are burning the candle at both ends. And in the century we are in, regardless of your job, if you don’t know foreign language, you can never be successful. We know the importance of foreign language so we are making an investment to build ‘a foreign language village” which will be the Centre of Foreign Language Education in Turkey. In addition to these, we have an agreement with Cambridge University Press and our academic staff will be able to participate in the educational seminars of Cambridge University at certain intervals to develop themselves’.
