Project: From Dumlupinar to Africa

A Project called From Dumlupinar to Africa has been begun by student clubs at Dumlupinar University, Hayme Ana International Student Association and Altin Çocuk Education, Culture and Cooperation Association.

A Project called From Dumlupinar  to Africa has been begun by student clubs at Dumlupinar University, Hayme Ana International Student Association and Altin Çocuk Education, Culture and Cooperation Association. It is related with drought problem in Africa and aimed at drilling shaft.

Mehmet Akif Aslan, the head of Educational Volunteers Association at Dumlupinar University, has made an opening speech, stating that one child dies of drought in every 5 seconds in Africa. This project is higly important in order to prevent this situation. It will consist of 3 stages: Firstly,  a kind of water box will be distributed, and financial support for the project will be provided. Secondly, a charity bazaar will be organized. Thirdly, a programme joined by celebrities will be arranged. After these 3 stages have been completed, all the money collected with the aid of this project will be used for Africa.

It has been observed that a great number of students and staff have participated in the meeting. After introductory speeches, the presentation concerning details of the project has been made.
